1. Bookings & Deposits

A booking is confirmed once the deposit is received. Deposits secure your date and are applied to the final balance. Unless stated otherwise, deposits are non-refundable. Balance is due as specified on your invoice or at delivery of final images, whichever comes first.

2. Cancellations / Reschedules

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us in writing as early as possible. Reschedules are subject to availability. For weather-dependent shoots (e.g., motocross events), we may propose a new date or location. If the event is cancelled by the organiser or venue, standard cancellation terms apply.

3. Shoot Day

You are responsible for obtaining any required permissions, passes, or credentials for your location or event. Safety comes first—our photographer may stop or adjust shooting at any time if conditions are unsafe or if access is restricted by officials.

4. Proofs & Selection

Proof galleries are delivered digitally (watermarked) for selection. Any watermarks are removed from purchased downloads and printed products. Proof access typically remains available for at least 30 days unless otherwise stated.

5. Editing & Turnaround

Standard colour correction, exposure, and crop adjustments are included. Advanced retouching (object removals, composites, etc.) is quoted separately. Typical turnaround for action events is 3–10 business days; fine-art projects may take longer. Delivery times can vary with workload and event size.

6. Prints, Posters & Calendars

We supply museum-grade print options and ready-to-hang finishes. Colours may vary slightly between devices and final prints due to calibration differences. Custom sizes and paper stocks are available on request. Calendars/posters are designed to order; a proof is supplied for approval before print.

7. Licensing & Usage

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all images are licensed for personal use (prints, personal social media with credit). Commercial use (sponsors, brands, paid advertising, merchandise, media outlets) requires a separate commercial license. Copyright remains with juliburns photography.

8. Attribution / Credit

When posting images online, please credit @juliburnsphotography (or “juliburns photography”) and avoid applying heavy filters or edits that alter the character of the work.

9. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed via our selected providers (e.g., Stripe). Deposits are non-refundable. Digital downloads and custom prints are final once delivered/approved, except where required by Australian consumer law.

10. Shipping & Delivery

Print orders are packaged carefully and shipped with tracking where available. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout; delays caused by carriers are outside our control, but we’ll help investigate issues.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to manage your booking and fulfil orders. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and your rights.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from services or products is limited to re-supply of services, replacement of goods, or a refund up to the amount paid for the relevant service or product.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site or services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
